Your mission is our mission. Acordis Consulting is dedicated to helping non-profits, charities, and mission-driven organizations succeed at their goals, by removing the complexity and cost associated with professional-grade technology, marketing, and logistics solutions.
We want to be a force for good, and we want every organization that’s working for the greater good to have access to affordable, top-tier professional services. That’s why we offer a sliding scale fee structure based on your organization’s size and finances. We even have a minimum annual quota for pro bono services that many organizations may be eligible for.
Acordis Consulting provides expert knowledge, guidance, and technical resources for virtually all aspects of modern IT and business logistics. We’re a small firm focused on big results, but our Practice Leaders have experience finding the right solution for small, mid-size, and enterprise organizations.
We are proponents of collaborative consulting, a practice in which we engage your organization’s staff at every step of the way. This ensures that your staff develops new skills and a strong knowledge of the solutions we deliver, rather than being left with a “black box” solution that no one really understands.
Our key areas of focus are listed below. If you don’t see a service listed below, please get in touch to discuss our full portfolio of offerings.
Acordis Consulting is a technology and business consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Acordis has worked with dozens of enterprise organizations to deliver complex, mission-critical solutions in technology, operations, and logistics. Our foundational mandate is to exceed every expectation on every project, every time.
Acordis Consulting was founded in 2011 by Aaron Firouz, an industry veteran with two decades of experience in enterprise technology. Over the ensuing decade, Acordis recruited only the most committed consultants that believe in our exceeding every expectation philosophy and delivered complex solutions for midsize and enterprise organizations across every industry.
In late 2023, Acordis Consulting divested from its remaining corporate projects and restructured with a new goal: to become a premier provider of professional services for nonprofits, NGOs, ethical startups, and other organizations that put people over profit.
The new Acordis Consulting is structured as a worker-owned coop because democracy begins in the workplace. We believe in social and environmental justice, and we strive to have a meaningful impact by empowering frontline organizations to do what they do best, and to leave the rest to us.
We are always looking to grow our team. If you’re interested in what we’re doing, send us a message along with your resume and a little information about yourself. Our only requirement is a commitment to our values: excellence, equity, and… um, evil-vanquishing? We don’t really have a third value, but things look better in threes.

I started Acordis Consulting in 2011 with a single goal: exceed every expectation. Call it my work ethic, my personal mantra, or just a sound business strategy. For over a decade, our small team worked with Fortune 100 organizations across every private sector industry, higher education, and local, state, and federal governments, and we’ve earned the trust of every single client with which we’ve worked.
Over the years, I worked with numerous nonprofit and grassroots organizations of all sizes, both in a professional capacity and as a volunteer. I came to recognize how underserved these organizations are due to their limited resources. These organizations were doing critical work to help their communities, the environment, and people around the world, and they had to do it on cumbersome, ineffective technology solutions because they often lacked the in-house expertise or the budget to hire an external firm to do it right.
Eventually, I decided that the best way that I can support these causes about which I care deeply is to provide my two decades of “enterprise-class” expertise to organizations that simply can’t afford the “enterprise-class” rates of traditional consulting firms, or because their small-scale projects don’t generate enough revenue to be worthwhile.
I want to change that.
The new Acordis Consulting is focused on being a force for good. We still intend to exceed every expectation, but now we offer an expanded set of services at even more affordable rates, ensuring equitable access to anyone working to make the world a better place. Additionally, we only select clients that meet our criteria for what we consider serving the public good; this means organizations whose primary efforts support social justice, environmental conservation, public knowledge and educational services, humanitarian efforts, and similar causes.
We’re in the fight, and we’re on your side.
